What every light-duty tow includes

Flatbed loading and a live ETA for everyday breakdowns.

Light-duty does not mean light effort. Every car, truck, and SUV we move from a Stonegate driveway, a Mainstreet Parker shoulder, or the Franktown Y rides on a modern flatbed with soft straps, full insurance, and a real ETA texted before we roll out of the yard.

Modern flatbed every load

AWD, 4WD, EV, lowered, and classic vehicles loaded without binding the drivetrain or scraping body panels. Same flatbed standard whether you are five miles from the yard or fifty.

Fully insured pickup to drop

Commercial liability and on-hook coverage active from the moment we hook your vehicle until the wheels touch the ground at your chosen drop. Certificate of insurance available on request.

Soft straps only

Wheel-net loading on every car, with zero chains across body, suspension, or bumper covers. The car arrives looking like it left.

Live ETA texted on dispatch

Driver name, truck description, and real arrival time texted the moment we leave the yard. No vague "on the way" updates while you stand in a parking lot.

EV & AWD manufacturer-spec

Flatbed transport is the method recommended by every AWD and EV manufacturer on the road today. Saves transfer cases on Subarus and Audis, and saves drive motors on Teslas, Rivians, and Lightnings.

Flat price quoted up front

Hookup plus mileage confirmed on the call, with no creative invoicing, no "fuel surcharge," and no after-the-fact storage. The number you hear is the number you pay.

Why flatbed towing matters for your vehicle.
Why a flatbed
Why a flatbed

Why flatbed towing matters for your vehicle.

A flatbed lifts every wheel off the ground, which is the only safe way to move modern AWD, 4WD, EV, and lowered vehicles. Hook-and-chain or dolly tows can spin transfer cases, damage drivetrains, or scrape bumpers and undertrays. Repairs that cost more than the tow itself.

Every Activate Towing call rolls with a modern flatbed and wheel-net straps. Whether it's a daily commuter that died on Singing Hills, a lifted truck off Hilltop Road, or a low-slung sports car at a Parker dealership, the loading method is the same: careful, damage-free, and quoted before we leave the yard.

  • AWD & 4WD safe

All four wheels off the ground. No risk to transfer cases or differentials.

  • EV-approved

Recommended by every major EV manufacturer for non-driveable transport.

  • Lowered & classic

Adjustable approach angles and soft straps protect splitters, bumpers, and paint.

  • Heavy SUVs

Sufficient capacity for full-size SUVs and half-ton light trucks.

Common situations

Everyday reasons people call us for a tow.

Most tows aren't dramatic. A battery finally gave up in the King Soopers lot. A transmission slipped halfway down Highway 86. A teenager nudged a curb hard enough to bend a wheel. We handle those calls the same way we handle the big ones. Flat rate, real ETA, careful loading.

  • 01
    Won't start at home

Driveway pickup with a quote confirmed before we leave the lot.

  • 02
    Broke down on the highway

Safe shoulder loading on Highway 86, I-25, E-470, and Parker Road.

  • 03
    Accident. Non-injury

We coordinate with your insurance and tow to the body shop you choose.

  • 04
    Dealership / shop transfer

We move purchased vehicles, project cars, and shop overflow between yards.

Why locals choose us

Built for light duty towing in Douglas & Elbert County

When you call us for light duty towing, you're not getting a national call center routing you to the lowest bidder. You're talking to a locally owned operator who lives and works in the same neighborhoods you do.

That means your driver know the cut-through from Stroh Ranch to E-470, the shortcut around weekend traffic on Founders Parkway, and which Castle Rock exits jam up at rush hour. The result: real ETAs, fewer surprises, and a person on the phone who actually understands where you are.

Locally owned & operated

Not a franchise. Not a call center. You get the same operator from quote to completion.

Equipment matched to the job

Flatbeds, wheel-lifts, and dollies on hand. We bring what your vehicle actually needs.

Insurance-friendly paperwork

Clear, itemized invoices and photos for claims when you need them.

Honest answers up front

If we're not the right call, we'll tell you and point you to someone who is.

FAQ

Quick answers.

What vehicles actually qualify as light-duty?+

Standard passenger cars, SUVs, light trucks under 10,000 lbs GVWR, crossovers, and motorcycles. If your VIN sticker shows a GVWR over 10,000 lbs (most three-quarter-ton diesels, dual-rear-wheel pickups, and Sprinters), you're in the medium-duty lane instead.

Can you tow my EV or AWD vehicle on a regular tow truck?+

No, and we wouldn't try. Every Activate Towing call rolls on a flatbed, which is the only safe method for EVs, AWD, 4WD, lowered, and classic vehicles.

Is there an after-hours, weekend, or fuel surcharge added at the end?+

No. The flat $125 within five miles and the $100 plus $5 per mile beyond it are the entire price, during our hours. No fuel fees, no admin fees, no weekend uplift.

What if my destination is more than five miles from pickup?+

It's a flat $100 hook-up plus $5 per mile, quoted to the exact penny before the truck leaves the yard. Mileage is measured from pickup point to drop-off via the most direct legal route, not from our shop.

Most cross-metro tows from the Elizabeth, Parker, or Franktown service area land in a predictable range, and we tell you the all-in number on the first call so there are no surprises when the payment terminal comes out.

Typical mileage quotes from a Parker or Elizabeth pickup
Pickup in Parker, drop in Castle Rock:
Roughly 12 miles, about $135 all-in.
Pickup in Elizabeth, drop in Centennial:
Roughly 20 miles, about $175 all-in.
Pickup in Franktown, drop in Aurora dealership:
Roughly 25 miles, about $200 all-in.
Pickup in Kiowa, drop in Highlands Ranch:
Roughly 30 miles, about $225 all-in.

Exact quote always confirmed on the call before dispatch, so the number you hear is the number you pay.

Do you tow into dealerships and body shops outside the immediate Elizabeth area?+

Constantly. Parker, Castle Rock, Aurora, Centennial, Lone Tree, and the south Denver metro are part of the daily run, and the per-mile rate is locked in before we roll.

What payment methods can I use on site?+

Cash, all major credit and debit cards, tap-to-pay, and digital wallets. Payment is collected at drop-off with no deposit and no prepay required.

Can you tow my car if I'm not going to be there at pickup?+

Yes, with a phone authorization from the registered owner and a clear handoff plan for the keys (lockbox, hidden location, or unlocked in a specific spot). We text photos at pickup and drop-off so you have a record of the vehicle's condition both ways.
